Tamashii Nations announced the release of a new store limited edition Hello Kitty Chogokin mech figure. The figure costs 9,900 yen (or about $66.42) and will be available exclusively from the Tamashii Store on April 2025.

The new Hello Kitty mech figure is articulated and can be set in a variety of poses, ranging from the iconic Hello Kitty sitting and looking sideways pose, standing up, or even flying using her hair bow wings. Additionally, the eyes of the figure can change to imitate different mech “expressions,” and Hello Kitty can also shoot her fist out like a rocket.

Different parts are included as well, such as a Chogokin base decorated with Hello Kitty’s bow, and the aforementioned bow wings, which can be transformed into diving flippers. A miniature Hello Kitty is also included, and she can be posed on the pedestal next to the main figure.

The Chogokin line of mech figures originates from the name of the alloy used to make the titular mech in the Mazinger Z anime, and the toy line has existed since the 1970s. Some recent Chogokin figures include the Chogokin Tamagotchi Robo figure, or a fitting line of Paradox Pokemon Iron Bundle and Iron Moth figures that appeared as exclusive creatures in Pokemon Violet.

The Hello Kitty Chogokin mech limited figure costs 9,900 yen (~$66.42) and will appear on the Tamashii Store sometime on April 2025.

Tamashii Nations will display its SH Figuarts figure of the Protagonist from Metaphor: ReFantazio at the Tamashii Nations 2024 exhibition. The event will run from November 15 to 17, 2024 in Akihabara.

As an SH Figuarts figure, you'll be able to pose the Metaphor: ReFantazio Protagonist however you want to. In the picture, we can see ts at the elbows, wrists, knees, and ankles. The figure is holding a sword, though it’s unknown if there are other optional parts, such as his book, that you’ll be able to swap it out for.

There is no pre-order or release date yet for this figure. More information on that should appear after or during Tamashii Nations 2024. While the teaser image of the figure shows that it’s pending licensor approval, the figure looks pretty complete. So Tamashii Nations should open up pre-orders soon.

The Protagonist, or Will, in Metaphor: ReFantazio is a silent protagonist whose dialogue choices depend on the player. However, from the choices, we can see that he’s a pretty nice person despite all of the negativity that random civilians throw his way. Other figures of the Protagonist that are available to purchase right now include a Basic Nendoroid from Good Smile Company. Pre-orders for the Nendoroid will close on December 18, 2024.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and WIndows PC.

Tamashii Nations revealed an SH Figuarts figure of Gintoki Sakata from Gintama. It’ll come out in May 2025, and more information on pre-orders will come out later.

If you go to the Tamashii Nations 2024 exhibition, you’ll be able to see a prototype of the Gintoki figure. The show will run from November 15 to 17, 2024. Considering the figure has been painted already, it’s possible that pre-orders will open up very soon. For now, the figure isn’t available on the website just yet.

From what we can see of the picture on Tamashii Nations’s website, the Gintoki figure can look both cool and silly, much like the character himself. Since this is a Figuarts figure, you can pose him and one of the parts you can give him is his wooden sword. Some of the comments hope that you can make him do the Kamehameha pose, which is a reference to how many times Gintoki tries to pull off the attack in the series. Since it seems like you can put his arm through his left sleeve, it might be possible.

While Tamashii Nations did not mention it, this figure might be part of the ongoing promotion for the 20th anniversary of Gintama. There have been multiple events and campaigns, such as an exhibition and a new popularity poll. Though the original Gintama already ended, the spin-off 3-Nen Z-Gumi Ginpachi-Sensei will air in October 2025.

The Gintama Gintoki Sakata figure from Tamashii Nations will open up for pre-order some time soon.

Tamashii Nations has unveiled the Metal Build Zeta Gundam figure from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. The figure will cost 44,000 JPY, which would convert to around $308.45.

Pre-orders will open up from October 1, 2024. Then, it’ll appear in stores from April 2025. Morifumi Naka, who has worked as an animator and animation director for multiple Mobile Suit Gundam series (including Zeta, Zeta: A New Translation, and ZZ), was one of the designers for this particular figure. The Metal Build Zeta Gundam figure is also capable of transforming into its Wave Rider mode, adding a new way to display it.

Meta Build models use a metal frame and usually incorporate a lot of details. However, customers should keep in mind that it’s closer to a figure than a plastic model. You won’t be able to build it like a normal Gunpla, so if that’s something you’re looking for, then you might want to consider using this money for an actual Gunpla.

The Zeta Gundam is not only the titular mobile suit of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, but it’s also the signature machine for protagonist Kamille Bidan. In the lore, Zeta was a technological marvel since it was the first mobile suit capable of transformation. As it’s been around since Zeta, you can expect that there have been multiple pieces of merchandise featuring it. The very first Gunpla for it came out in 1985, when the anime was airing on TVs.

Bandai Spirits has revealed via its Tamashii Nations website that it will release a Proplica sword of the Tensa Zangetsu from Bleach for fun or cosplay purchases. The company will sell official replicas of Ichigo Kurosaki's signature sword worldwide in early 2025 at 19,800 yen (~$136.35).

The product will be a life-size replica of the sword, so it will also be suitable for completing a cosplay set of Ichigo Kurosaki. However, this item will also have many audio gimmicks. Besides the sword-swinging sound effects, it will contain over 140 voice lines. In addition, the replica sword can also play short versions of the Bleach theme songs "ALONES" and "Number One."

Bandai Spirits has also ed a promotion trailer featuring the Tensa Zangetsu Bleach Proplica and someone in Ichigo cosplay on its YouTube channel:

Even though the original manga series had concluded in 2016, the Bleach franchise is still actively getting new content following the anime adaptation of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc that launched in 2022. The third part of the above adaptation will start airing in October 2024. New games themed after the arc, such as Rebirth of Souls for consoles and Soul Puzzle for mobile devices, will also appear worldwide.

The Proplica of Ichigo Kurosaki's sword Tensa Zangetsu from Bleach will be available worldwide in January 2025. Bandai Spirits will start accepting pre-orders for the product on September 3, 2024.

Tamashii Nations has announced an S.H. Figuarts figure of SAM from Honkai: Star Rail. There aren’t any pictures of the prototype yet, but the promotional art shows SAM in Complete Combustion mode.

As there isn’t a prototype available yet, there’s not much information on the Honkai: Star Rail SAM Figuarts figure. If it’s like normal Figuarts figures, it’ll be an action one, which means there will be ts in the limbs for you to pose it as you wish. SAM is holding the item that Firefly uses to put on the armor, so it might be an optional part you can put in its hand.

In Honkai: Star Rail, SAM is the name of the armor that Firefly uses in battle. SAM is short for Fyrefly Type-IV Strategic Assault Mech, but it was also the name of the Stellaron Hunter until the reveal of who is underneath it. In battle, Firefly can enter Complete Combustion state with her Ultimate, which will give SAM wings, glowing eyes, and a trail of light emanating from the back of its head. These features are visible in the promotional art.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. More information on the Honkai: Star Rail SAM Figuarts figure will appear in the future. Though not from Tamashii Nations, Good Smile Company also announced a scale figure of Firefly.

Tamashii Nations announced that the third figure in its Yu-Gi-Oh SH Monster Arts line will be Elemental Hero Flame Wingman from GX. More details about the figure and its launch will come out in the future.

The promotional art for the Yu-Gi-Oh GX Flame Wingman looks like the monster’s summon animation in the anime. It looks like it’s standing on a spire of a building while a full moon is behind it. Other promotional art for it on the Tamashii Nations website depicts it in front of multiple skyscrapers. This is a reference to Skyscraper, which is a Field Magic card that specifically s the Elemental Hero archetype.

Flame Wingman was the ace monster of Judai Yuki (Jaden Yuki) during the first season of Yu-Gi-Oh GX. It is a Fusion monster that requires Elemental Hero Avian and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix to create. When it destroys a monster in battle and sends it to the Graveyard, it can deal damage equal to its ATK to the opposing player. This effect works very well against monsters with high ATK, such as Red-Eyes Black Dragon. Incidentally, Red-Eyes Black Dragon was one of the SH Monster Arts figures from Tamashii Nations.

A Figuarts Zero figure of Byakuya Kuchiki from Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be available for purchase. There is currently no information on the price or the release window for this figure.

The Twitter for Tamashii Nations posted a picture of what the figure will look like. It will feature Byakuya activating the Shikai of his Zanpakuto, Senbonzakura. He’s holding the bladeless hilt of his katana while there are cherry blossom petals floating around him. The stand itself resembles the petals. In Bleach, the blade of Byakuya’s sword can transform into a bunch of flower petals, which he can control them from a distance.

Previously, Tamashii Nations released figures of Bleach characters like Ichigo and Hitsugaya. These figures are likely still available for purchase from storefronts like Amazon. Because Tamashii Nations works with a lot of different vendors, even people from outside of Japan should be able to purchase the products.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War started in October 2022 and serves as a continuation of the original Bleach anime. It adapts the Thousand-Year Blood War arc from the manga, which also serves as the final story arc in Bleach. You can watch it via streaming services like Disney+.

The Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Figuarts Zero figure of Byakuya Kuchiki will be available in the Tamashii Nations shop some time in the future.

Bandai and Tamashii Nations have revealed a brand new Bleach Ichigo Kurosaki SH Figuarts figure which is set to release in Japan in October 2024 for ¥ 9,900 (~$64 USD). The figure has also been announced for release worldwide, but no release date or pre-order information has been provided at the current time.

The new Ichigo Kurosaki SH Figuarts figure is being referred to as his "Dual Zangetsu" version, which is based on his Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War appearance once Ichigo reforges his zanpakuto. When Ichigo reforges his zanpakuto, it reveals that his sword has become two halves of one whole. In this outfit, Ichigo wears a large red and white pauldron on his left shoulder and a smaller white pauldron on his right shoulder, creating an "X" across his chest, and around his waist is a torn white and black robe.

The figure comes with 4 swords: Getsuga Tensho and Getsuga Jujisho unsheathed, and the both swords sheathed. Ichigo also comes with four different faces, six different hands for gripping the swords or different poses, and various attack effects. Ichigo can be posed into many different ways to replicate his attacks from the anime by utilizing the provided stand that comes with the figure.

The original Bleach anime series began airing in 2004 through to 2012 and received four feature-length animated films during its initial run. The anime returned after ten years with Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War in 2022, and the new season is scheduled to air sometime in 2024.

The new Bleach Ichigo Kurosaki's Dual Zangetsu SH Figuarts figure goes on sale in Japan on April 19, 2024, and releases October 2024 in Japan. Tamashii Nations stated that more information about the worldwide release will be revealed soon.

Bandai Namco shared a look at the Minato Namikaze SH Figuarts Naruto figure being made as a result of the Narutop99 worldwide character poll results. As a reminder, he was the winner of the 2023 poll, and his figure will debut in July 2024.

For this figure, Minato is in his full Fourth Hokage attire. He’s wearing the coat, which looks like it may be flexible enough to help with posing for the figure. Neutral, shouting, and smiling face plates will be included. The mouth is open for the angry face, with one pose showing that a kunai could be placed in it to look like he’s holding it in his teeth. There will also be various equipment for him to wield, as well as an effect art to show one of his attacks.

Pre-orders for this figure will open on January 10, 2024. It will cost 8,250 yen (~$57).

As a reminder, Bandai Namco confirmed multiple SH Figuarts figures based on the results of the character poll. So far, Minato is the third. First, Naruto ended up being revealed. Then, a Sakura one was also confirmed. 

The Minato Namikaze SH Figuarts Narutop99 figure is in development, and there’s no release date for it yet. The Naruto and Boruto anime adaptations are streaming on Crunchyroll, and Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan.

Bandai Namco's Tamashii Nations has announced that the next figure in its SH MonsterArts line is the Red-Eyes Black Dragon from Yu-Gi-Oh. There is no date for pre-orders or release, though Tamashii Nations plans to release more details at Jump Festa 2024, to be held in December of this year.

While not as iconic as the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, the Red-Eyes Black Dragon will be familiar to fans of the original Yu-Gi-Oh anime as the trump card of Joey Wheeler/Katsuya Jonouchi. Details for the SH MonsterArts model are scarce, but from the promo photos, it is likely that some parts, like the neck and arms, may be articulated.

Other Yu-Gi-Oh figures announced recently include a Nendoroid of Jaden Yuki from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and several new statues from Megahobby, including the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Tamashii Nations has recently scheduled pre-orders for its Tales of Arise Figuarts Mini Figures and revealed new versions of the SH Figuarts Ryu and Chun Li figures.

There is currently no release date for the SH MonsterArts Yu-Gi-Oh Red-Eyes Black Dragon. More details are expected to be released at Jump Festa 2024 which will begin on December 16, 2023.

Tamashii Nations announced the development of a replica Master Sword from the Legend of Zelda series, which will be part of the company's PROPLICA line. While details are scarce at the moment, Tamashii has said a prototype will be displayed at the Tamashii Nation 2023 event in Akihabara.

PROPLICA is a line of replica weapons by Tamashii Nation, itself a part of Bandai Namco. Previous PROPLICA pieces have included voice lines from the media they are from, though it is unknown if the Master Sword will include these.

Previous releases in Tamashii Nations' PROPLICA line include Yuta Okkotsu's sword from Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and the serrated Nichirin blades used by Inosuke from Demon Slayer. As for the Legend of Zelda, Nintendo recently announced that a live-action movie based on the series is in production with Wes Ball set to direct. The company also released sales figures reporting that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sold nearly 20 million copies during the first half of the current fiscal year.

There is currently no release date for the Legend of Zelda PROPLICA Replica Master Sword from Tamashii Nations, however a prototype is set to be show at the Tamashii Nation event in Akihabara beginning November 17, 2023.

Tamashii Web will open up pre-orders of Figuarts Mini figures of Alphen, Shionne, and Dohalim from Tales of Arise. Pre-orders will start on November 21, 2023, and the collectibles will be released in April 2024.

There’s no information as of yet in regards to where you’ll be able to buy the Alphen, Shionne, and Dohalim Tales of Arise figures. Usually, you can get Tamashii Web items via its physical stores or online shop. Whether it offers international delivery or not depends on your region and the item.

More details on delivery for these figures, in particular, will be available via the Tamashii website once pre-orders open. You can get a closer look at the Tales of Arise collectibles in the gallery below:

Figuarts Mini figures can fit in the palm of your hand and come with ball ts so that you can adjust the pose somewhat. The Alphen figure is wearing his Gahm Arthalys costume, while the Shionne one is wearing her L’Aze Phiarquis outfit.

In Tales of Arise, you could get these outfits automatically by simply progressing through the main story. Each figure costs 2970 JPY (this number includes the tax), which would be approximately $19.60.

The Tales of Arise Alphen, Shionne, and Dohalim Figuarts Mini figures will open up for pre-order from November 21, 2023. Tales of Arise and the Beyond the Dawn DLC are now available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.

Bandai’s Tamashii Nations revealed two new versions of the popular Ryu and Chun-Li SH Figuarts articulated figures from the Street Fighter series. Each figure costs ¥8,800 yen (or about $60). Their expected release date is February 2024. The new Ryu and Chun-Li figures are now available to pre-order from select retail stores in Japan. Details about the worldwide release aren't available yet.

Each figure comes with three interchangeable face plates, several wrist part replacements, a Hadouken effect part for Ryu and a Hyakuretsukyaku (Lightning Kick) effect part for Chun-Li, and a background sheet representing one of the character’s signature stages.

These are the “Outfit 2” versions. The original figures originally released in 2017 and could be found worldwide. The new editions of the Ryu and Chun-Li SH Figuarts figures have been redesigned to improve the character’s face modeling, and to better represent some of their iconic moves.

Bandai’s Tamashii Nations is producing a new posable 9S action figure from Nier:Automata. It is a part of the SH Figuarts line and has a planned release window of February 2024. It will cost 8,000 yen ($54.34) before tax. Pre-orders will be open in Japan starting on September 1, 2023 at AmiAmi and the Tamashii Nations Amazon store page.

The figure is made of ABS and PVC materials. It stands at about 145 millimeters tall, or about 5.7 inches. Some parts of the figure, such as the clothing, are made up of soft plastic to allow for ease of mobility when putting the figure in different poses. He can also be posed alongside the SH Figuarts figure of his partner from the game, 2B. An additional face plate features him without his mask.

The optional parts the 9S figure includes are the following:

• Cruel Oath sword
• Eight hand parts (five left, three right)
• Five hand parts
• Four face parts
• Pod 153
• Posing stand
• Swappable hair part

The 9S SH Figuarts NieR:Automata figure is planned to release February 2024. NieR:Automata is available to play on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Its anime adaptation is streaming on Crunchyroll, and there is a second cour currently in development.
