Game Freak will release a new game called Beast of Reincarnation for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. It will debut in 2026. The game will be published by Fictions. The June 2025 Xbox Game Showcase shared the first trailer as one of the world reveals during the event, and it also involved a first gameplay trailer.
In 4026, humanity will become extinct. A blight is spreading across the land. Emma the Sealer is the one tasked with dealing with the titular beast, as well as other corrupted beings. The first trailer included a number of cinematics, as well as quite a bit of gameplay with Emma attacking various enemies. It almost looks like it could be a Soulslike sort of title, but we’ll need to wait for more details to be certain about how it works.

Game Freak does have another title coming up in 2025. Pokemon Legends: Z-A is headed to the Switch and Switch 2. That debuts on October 16, 2025.
Beast of Reincarnation will come to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2026.
